Youth Groups

Temple Hatikvah’s Youth Groups offer varied programming featuring Jewish and social activities to help our children and teens form friendships that will last a lifetime.

Children of Hebrew school age are welcome to participate in the Youth Group.  This program provides a social setting within which children continue to learn the values and rituals associated with Judaism.

Post Bar/Bat Mitzvah adolescents have the opportunity to assist with Junior Congregation, lead parts of the Shabbat services, and participate in Social Action programs as well as serve on the Junior Board, a new fundraising arm of the synagogue.

In addition, the Junior Board is made up of Hebrew School graduates from Temple Hatikvah.  These future leaders of the community work together to get involved, develop leadership skills, and have a great time by organizing Temple activities. These kids really show us what they can do.
