KABBALAT SHABBAT AT MERRY HEART

Friday, June 27, 2008 at 6:15 PM, come join Rabbi Rudin at the Merry Heart Nursing Home for our monthly Kabbalat Shabbat visit. Spread the message of hope, connection to the Jewish community and healing in this very special experience.  The Merry Heart is located at 200 Route 10 West, just ten minutes from the shul.

SUPERMARKET GIFT CARD SALE DAYS

As you probably know by now, July 1st is the start of the new fiscal year. That means the Gift Card program also starts over at the same time. In keeping with our policy of two pickup dates each month, the following is the Gift Card pickup schedule for the next three months. The rest of the dates will be listed in the September bulletin, as well as on the website.

July 6 (9-10) – beginning of the new fiscal year
July 20 (11-12)
August 3 (9-10)

COME HELP TEMPLE HATIKVAH HIT A FUNDRAISING HOME RUN!

On Sunday, July 20th, 2008, Temple HaTikvah will be participating in a new fundraising activity by manning the 3rd Base food stand at Commerce Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, New Jersey, home of the Somerset Patriots.  We are looking for volunteers to help us make this event fun, exciting and successful!  All volunteers needs to be at least 16 years of age and will need to arrive at the ball park at approximately 2:30 PM that day (game time is 5:05 PM).  The Temple has the opportunity to earn a significant amount of money and the more people that we have, the greater the opportunity is for our earning potential.
