Cafe Hatikvah - Coffeehouse - March 7th

New Jersey’s bad boys of rock, the “Kvetching Schmendricks”, are headlining the bill for our annual Café Hatikvah Coffeehouse event at Temple Hatikvah, 58 Pleasant Hill Road in Flanders, NJ on Saturday night, March 7, 2015 at 7:00 PM. The group is fronted by long-time Mick Jagger impersonator, Dr. Larry Leibowitz and Beatles fanatic, Sam Mitchell. Joining them on the stage will be other local favorites such as The Back Office, The E-Z Leis, The Finnstones, Moderately Bright Four, Steve Kohn, The Electric Dogs and David Gronlund-Jacob.

This annual event is always a fun night out for adults. Proceeds will support Temple Hatikvah's many programs and services we provide to the community. Tree of Life

Temple Hatikvah, located in Flanders, NJ, is an engaged and dynamic Jewish community, originally founded in 1969 and is a member of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. This egalitarian, Conservative synagogue has built a reputation for strong Jewish values with emphasis on education and social action. Our weekly Shabbat Services are led by Rabbi Scott Roland. We provide an excellent Jewish education program through our Religious School and Adult Education classes with B’nai Mitzvah classes, supplementary and enrichment programs for children as well as adults.

Temple Hatikvah is an inclusive Congregation with members of varied levels of observance; interfaith families and Jews by choice are an integral part of our synagogue family. We appreciate and welcome diverse family structures into our community. Temple Hatikvah, with its active Men’s Club, Sisterhood, and youth groups for children of all ages, is truly a community in every sense of the word. Membership categories cover many demographics including families, interfaith families, singles, seniors, and young families/young singles.
